Biographies
Peter Collins obtained his BCL Degree at UCC and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in 1982. His main areas of interest are Residential, Agricultural and Commercial Conveyancing, Litigation, Family and Child Law with a particular interest in all forms of District Court representation. He holds Certificates in Advanced Advocacy from the Law Society of Ireland the Law Society of Northern Ireland and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Peter is a board member of M.R.D. which is a community company dedicated to improving the town of Carrick-on-Shannon, a former secretary of Leitrim Bar Association and a member of numerous local clubs.
Donal Scanlon joined Collins LLP as a trainee in 2006 and has practised as a Solicitor since qualifying in 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Laws in Law and European Studies from University College Limerick. Donal is a native of Athlone, Co. Westmeath. He is involved in all aspects of the practice. He specialises in Probate, Debt Recovery, Conveyancing and Litigation.
Stephanie James Personal Assistant to Peter Collins. She returned to Collins LLP in 2002 after working for two years as a Personal Assistant to a leading criminal antitrust Lawyer in Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, Brussels. She lives in Kilmore, Co. Roscommon with her husband and children and is a legal executive.
